Matt began his coaching career in 2005 with Bethal University at the NCAA D3 level. From there he became a scout for the Phoenix Coyotes of the NHL. In 2013 he joined the Dubuque Fighting Saints of the USHL as a Goalie Coach and Director of Hockey Operations which he held until 2020 where he joined the LA Kings organization as the Goaltending Development Coach, working with their prospects with the Ontario Reign of the AHL.
